As the weekend approaches, Valentine's Day will be upon us. I've always felt that Valentine's Day puts pressure on men to do something special for their girlfriend or wife. I think that it shouldn't be about who loves you but who you love. I'd rather the card, flowers or something special just because not necessarily on Valentine's Day. However, I do usually give the boys something fun and definitely lots of extra kisses on Valentine's Day.Here is some Valentine's Day Trivia for you:
* 15% of U.S. women send themselves flowers on Valentine's Day.
* 73% of people who buy flowers for Valentine's Day are men, while only 27 percent are women.
* About 1 billion Valentine's Day cards are exchanged each year. That's the largest seasonal card-sending occasion of the year, next to Christmas.
* About 3% of pet owners will give Valentine's Day gifts to their pets.
* Alexander Graham Bell applied for his patent on the telephone, an "Improvement in Telegraphy", on Valentine's Day, 1876.
* 110 million roses, the majority red, will be sold and delivered within a three-day time period.
